Creamy pasta is one of the most loved dishes for both kids and adults. This recipe gives you a rich, cheesy, and delicious white sauce pasta made with tender chicken and simple spices. You can easily prepare this at home with basic ingredients. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a special treat!

  • Pasta (macaroni or penne) – 2 cups

  • Boneless chicken (cut into small cubes) – 1 cup

  • Oil – 2 tbsp

  • Garlic ginger paste – 1 tsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • Black pepper – ½ tsp

  • Red chili flakes – ½ tsp

  • Oregano – ½ tsp

  • Water – ¼ cup

  • Butter – 2 tbsp

  • All-purpose flour (maida) – 2 tbsp

  • Milk – 2 cups

  • Fresh cream – ½ cup

  • Cheddar cheese (grated) – ½ cup

  • Boiled vegetables (optional: corn, capsicum, peas) – ½ cup

🍝 How to Make Creamy Pasta (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Boil the pasta

Take a large pot, fill it with water, and bring it to a boil. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil.
Add 2 cups of pasta and cook for about 8–10 minutes or until soft but firm (al dente).
Strain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 2: Cook the chicken

In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste and sauté until it turns light golden brown.
Now add the boneless chicken pieces and cook until the chicken turns white in color.

Step 3: Add spices and cook

Next, add salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, and oregano. Mix well.
Add about ¼ cup water, cover the lid, and cook on low flame until the chicken becomes tender.
Let the water dry completely, then set the chicken aside.

Step 4: Prepare the white sauce

In another pan, melt 2 tbsp butter. Add 2 tbsp all-purpose flour and cook on low flame for 1–2 minutes while stirring.
Slowly pour in 2 cups of milk while whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
When the sauce thickens, add ½ cup fresh cream and ½ cup grated cheddar cheese. Mix well until smooth.

Step 5: Combine and finish

Add the cooked chicken to the white sauce and mix.
Now add the boiled pasta and stir until fully coated with the creamy sauce.
You can also add boiled vegetables if you like.
